Memories on the Mic – Heroes and Legends

Join us on the 3rd Thursday of the month this summer for a new event series. Share your memories, writing or music related to the topic of the month. It is FREE to participate and attend. Participants consent to being recorded for our digital archive collection.

This month, we are lucky to host Bill Watson, local hockey legend and winner of the 1985 Hobey Baker Award. He will talk about his career and answer any questions from the audience.

Afterwards, we will open the mic up to the crowd to hear other stories of local heroes and legends. They could be other sports heroes, personal stories of individuals who made a big impact, or legendary tales that sound too good to be true.

We encourage everyone in the community to share their stories! As a local historical society, it is our goal to preserve, share, and gather as many stories as we can.
